My primary project as the design co-op at Sametz Blackstone Associates was developing a new, exciting visual identity for one of Chicago's premier art institutions. Throughout the six months I spent on this project, I applied this new visual system across a huge variety of print and digital formats—I also left with more opera knowledge than I could have ever foreseen having at any point in my life. Fiiiiigaro!

As a part of the fresh new visual system, each of Lyric's season productions was to have an image + color + type lockup associated with it as its primary identifier across all marketing media. The tabloid-sized compositions I created for each production explored how imagery, typography, and color could set the mood for shows ranging from zany and fun, to poignant and somber, to dark and violent.

WEBSITE

Our engagement with Lyric involved a rebuild of their website from the ground up. I had the opportunity to work across the scope of the project, from initial user research, content ideation, and wireframing through the creation of high-fidelity designs, shown below.
